Séance Magic is an interactive, storytelling-based performance which blends illusion, theater, and audience participation. Each scene unfolds like a living ghost story: a mystery that comes to life in the hands of the audience.
During the 45 minute to hour long exhibition, objects move untouched, spirit messages appear, and impossible events occur using authentic séance artifacts and carefully crafted close-up illusions. Every audience participant becomes part of the narrative, helping to reveal the “spirit” of each story — sometimes literally.

J. Michael Mormino has spent decades walking the world’s thresholds: the catacombs beneath the streets of Paris, through the necropolis of Père Lachaise cemetery, alongside legendary paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, and into the hushed parlors of America’s most haunted cities including cypress-strewn Savannah, Georgia.
These encounters shape Séance Magic: a theatrical séance where fiction and folklore intertwine, and the spirits of story answer his call. Mormino doesn’t claim to summon the dead — only to stand close enough to their memory that sometimes, the air begins to move.
